L-R: Mrs. Hope Hanson Okuoimase, wife of Globacom Dealer, President of Nigerian Football Federation, NFF, Mr. Amaju Pinick and Globacom dealer/CEO of Nadal Heights System Limited, Mr. Hanson Okuoimase, at the Globacom-sponsored Warri edition of Bovi Man on Fire comedy show held in Warri on Thursday at Brownhill Event Centre, Warri.
Digital transformation company, Globacom, last Thursday in Warri, Delta State, treated its High Networth Individual (HNI) customers to an evening of fun to usher in the Easter celebration as it gave them free tickets to watch the Warri edition of the comedy show, Bovi Man on Fire.
The comedy show which was organised by Messer Brownhill Event Limited, had Globacom as the Exclusive Telco Sponsor and was attended by the crème de la crème of Warri and environs, among whom were the Prime Minister of Warri Kingdom, High Chief Ayiri Emami, the president of the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF), Mr. Amaju Pinick, Globacom's number one trade partner in the Mid-West Region, Mr. Hanson Okuoimase, who doubles as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Nadal Heights System Limited and his wife, Mrs. Hope Hanson, among others.
Speaking on his experience after the show, one of Globacom's HNIs subscribers who got a free VIP ticket to the show, Engineer Philip Oghenetega, praised the telecommunications company for always seeking to delight its customers at all given opportunities.
"Beyond the laughter here and the fun, I think, we should personally acknowledge Globacom for its efforts at always going out of its ways to delight its customers and make them always number one in everything. I have been to shows and I can appreciate the value of the free ticket Globacom gave to me to be part of this Bovi Man on Fire show, the first in Warri", Oghenetega enthused.
Another Globacom subscriber and a leading activation dealer of the company, Mr. Stanley Omatseyione, said "one must give it to Globacom for having the interest of its subscribers and business partners at heart. I had planned to come for the show on my own and I was greatly relieved when Globacom sent the free ticket to me. This is very encouraging and it gladdens one's heart to note that a company as big as Globacom recognises one's modest contribution to its growth".
Also speaking on his experience at the show, another Globacom HNI customer, Mr. Bomlegaha Diyerin, Managing Director of Bobsky BB Integrated Resources, thanked the company "for extending its hand of generosity to us by giving us free VIP tickets for a wonderful show like this. Globacom cares about its customers and we are not surprised that the company keeps waxing stronger everyday".
Other subscribers who attended the show free of charge, courtesy of Globacom, included Engineers Onos Okhabhau and Andre Fomius of Nest Oil, Tare Fufeyin and Dikesi Blessing of Christ Mercy Land and Samson Efenudu of Dewayles Oil Limited and a host of others.
Apart from Bovi, whose over one-hour performance at the show was the climax of the evening of laughter, other comedians who entertained the live audience at the show included Kelvin Sapp, Young Chief Odogwu, MC Shakara and Mr. Flexy.

FG declares medical doctors free to leave Nigeria, says they are surplus

The Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige has said that he is not bothered about medical doctors leaving Nigeria, to practice outside the country.
Ngige who was a guest on Channels TV Sunrise Daily, said the practice is not alien to Nigeria, because he was taught by Indians in secondary school.
“I’m Not Worried, We Have Surplus (Doctors), if we have a surplus, we export. I was taught Biology and Chemistry by Indian teachers in my secondary school days.
“They are surplus in their country. We have a surplus in the medical profession in our country. I can tell you this. It is my area, we have excess. We have enough, more than enough, quote me,” he said.
Ngige, when asked if nothing was wrong, owing to his position as a qualified medical doctor, said there was nothing wrong in their choice to practise overseas, at the detriment of Nigeria’s health sector.
“There is nothing wrong, they go out to sharpen their skills, earn money and send them back home here. Yes, we have foreign exchange earnings from them, not from oil.
“Those guys go there, they are better trained because of the facilities they have there. Eventually, I know a couple of them who practise abroad but set up medical centres back home. They have CAT scan, MRI scan which even the government hospitals cannot maintain. So, I don’t see any loss.
“Brain drain will only be inimical when for instance neurosurgeons travel and we don’t have neurosurgeons here,” Ngige added.
